The Private Hire Operators’ Licence (Section 56(2) of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 requires that we keep particular records of every booking of the Private Hire vehicle. These records include: the time and date of booking; the name and address of hirer; number of persons to be carried; how the booking was made (i.e. by telephone, in person etc); the time of pick up; the point of pick up; the destination; name and licence number of driver; vehicle to be used and details of any complaint received in respect of any driver, vehicle or operator.
What do we do with the information we gather? The information we gather about your visit to our website enables us to improve our services and to provide statistical information regarding the use of our site. Such information will not identify you personally.
We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order (by telephone or online) only to complete that order. We do not share this information with any outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/ credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway provider’s database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your financial details will not be stored by us in any way.
We use the information you provide about someone else when placing an order only to ship the product and to confirm delivery. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.
Any correspondence you send to us will be retained in your customer record in order to keep records of our relationship with you.
We use return email addresses to answer the emails we receive. Such addresses are not shared with outside parties.
Occasionally we may use your contact details (postal address or email address) to notify you about changes to our services, for statistical or survey purposes or to provide you with information about promotions and special offers. We may transfer your personal information to a successor in interest to Razorcat Tours if Razorcat Tours is acquired by or merged with another organization.
