Tours - Lacock

Travel back in time on a Razorcat trike...

If you're a film fan then you’ll love these rides. Choose one of our Lacock tours and see for yourself why this village is as popular with film companies as it is with the public. Used in the films Pride and Prejudice and Emma as main locations, it very rarely sees a year go by without some film crew turning up. Its other claim to fame is the Abbey, which was used as the location for Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films. 13th Century Lacock is the perfect place to visit, with its winding streets, beautiful architecture and historic buildings, this village has it all. It has remained untouched by modern development with no wires or TV aerials to spoil the view and is virtually unchanged from how it was all those centuries ago.

Each of our tours is specially designed to take you along the most scenic of routes as well as through some of the prettiest places in the West Country, and all from the back of our beautiful trike. You soon become lost in the joy of riding this exciting machine as it cruises through the countryside.

When you take a ride on a Razorcat trike, YOU become the centre of attention.

"What a wonderful time we both had on your Trike Tour. It was an experience we will remember always. From booking the tour through Frances, who was so helpful and a joy to talk to, to the exhilarating ride through the countryside around Bath coupled with your enthusiasm and knowledge of the areas of interest. We would certainly recommend your tours to anybody that enjoys something different and wish you a long and successful business. Best regards, Brian & Lynne", November 2011

You’ll just love this one!
On this ride we take in some of the most spectacular country roads in the area, ride in three Shires, and pass through delightful villages, ancient towns and historic settings culminating in a stop at Lacock for photos in this fascinating 13th century village.

We leave Bath and pass over the toll bridge at Bathampton, making our way to Marshfield. We pass through Tormarton, Old Sodbury, Acton Turville and Sherston before heading into Malmesbury. This ancient borough dates back to 880AD and is claimed to be the oldest in England. It played a vital part in the Civil War as it stood on the main road from Bristol to Oxford. If time permits we will stop for a short look around and for photos.

Out of Malmesbury we head on to Lacock along the winding country roads passing through Lyneham (RAF Base) and Calne. From there we top the hill and look out over Wiltshire and into Gloucestershire, such is the view here. Dropping down into the village, we can stop and take a short look around Lacock and take some photos before we are on our way again cruising the highways down through Box and on to Bath and home – a wonderful ride through three counties.

"Hello to you both, I just want to say thank you for a brilliant day. As I told Stewart, I had just lost my driving licence due to my restricted eyesight and was feeling pretty flat then up comes this brilliant ride! Not only was the ride special we both enjoyed hearing about some of the history of the place and no doubt if we had had more time Stewart could have shown us a great deal more. Once again thank you for making an old codger happy – not so sure about the other old codger who was with me! Long may your tours continue. Best wishes, Gayna", September 2011
